It’s already Christmas at Paseo de Marianas

Last night, a seven-member panel of judges rated the Christmas tree entries which students, parents and teachers from 16 public and private elementary schools decorated on Wednesday and yesterday afternoon.

The announcement and awarding of winners will be held on Dec. 15 during the Thursday street market activities.

PDM Promoters Inc. staffers also lit up the 30-foot Christmas tree at the center of Paseo de Marianas last night.

The participating schools produced spectacular decorations out of recycled corks, Styrofoam, soda cans, mineral water bottles, and other recyclable materials.

At stake are cash prizes.

This year’s participants are Golden Harvest International School, Koblerville Elementary School, Green Meadow School, William S. Reyes Elementary School, Dandan Elementary School, Joshua Generation International Academy, Garapan Elementary School, Kagman Elementary School, Saipan Seventh Day Adventist School, San Antonio Elementary School, Brilliant Star School, Tanapag Elementary School, Grace Christian Academy, Oleai Elementary School, Agape Christian School and Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School.

Students from Tinian and Rota will be joining the PDM Promoter’s Christmas events by submitting drawing entries on the theme “My Holiday Greetings to Our Visitors.”  Winners will  receive gift packs from PDM Promoters.
