Japan Embassy official visits Yap

Ura will also follow up on past grassroots grant projects and the other assistance provided to Yap by the government of Japan.

During his four-day stay, he met with the state leadership and relevant officials, especially those with the Yap Environmental Protection Agency, the Yap Fishing Authority, and the Department of Public Works & Transportation.

He also opened discussions with the College of Micronesia-FSM, the Yap Women’s Association, and the Wacholab Community Enterprises on their projects, and met with the Marror Community of Rumuu’ Village and Nel Village to discuss their projects as well.

Ura stayed at the ESA Bay View Hotel while in Yap.
