Japanese exchange students connect with KagHS

Despite the language barrier, the visiting students and their local counterparts managed to connect through dance and other activities.

KagHS students cheered their Japanese friends with genuine enthusiasm as the visitors performed a dance number.

KagHS student Tash Dela Cruz said  the performances and the time they spent with the exchange students helped her and her peers appreciate Japanese culture and to learn to accept differences in others.

Teacher Josie Kaipat said  they are going to teach the visiting students how to make mwars under a flame tree.

The Japanese and local students exchanged gifts before the day ended.
