JESUS Pinaula Rios remains missing, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Assistant Chief of Police Simon Manacop, the DPS’s acting public information officer, on Wednesday said Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives “are canvassing neighbors and nearby establishments.”
He said “DPS has also requested assistance from the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services for their Search and Rescue Unit to assist in the search operation. At this point, there is no indication to suggest any criminal offense associated with the disappearance.”
Rios, 67, who resides in Finasisu, was last seen on Monday, Feb. 5 at about 12 p.m. by a family member who saw him “go outside [their] home to smoke a cigarette.”
