Presiding Judge Robert C. Naraja discharged Islam Mohammad Aminul after the reading of the verdict.
The jury trial lasted for two days.
The prosecution said Aminul abused his victim on Feb. 9, 2009 at their shared three-bedroom apartment in Sadog Tasi.
Assistant Public Defender Michael Curtis Brown, who represented Aminul, said his client has been a good employee since arriving on Saipan eight years ago.
Assistant Attorneys General Benjamin Petersburg and Peter Prestley prosecuted the case.
