“If only all the drivers would abide with the law then there wouldn’t be any problem,” he said. “But since many are not law-abiding citizens it becomes a problem.”
He said despite the “Buckle Up” and other DPS campaigns, majority of the accidents on island involved motorists driving without a seatbelt and children not in car seats.
The problem, he added, is not solely law enforcement but also the attitude of the individuals.
