The club is planning to put up more signs in other parts of the island, Adaza said.
Club charter member Mario Mayuga said they started installing signs in the early 1990’s with the help of Lions Club members from Japan.
Club president Eden Mercado expressed her appreciation to Rick Magtalas for assisting the Lions in replacing the old anti-littering signs; donors Lynn Reyes, Arman Amog, and Mario Mayuga; and all club members who helped install the signs.
Individuals who would like to join the Lions Club or to donate to its road sign project may call club president Eden Mercado at 788-2416 or club secretary Mario Mayuga at 285-1021.
