Brabu Pharmacy, located on Middle Road, was opened in 2008 by co-owners John Douglas and Ted Parker. It took its name from the Chamorro term “brabu” which means healthy and energetic.
Brabu Pharmacy allows for electronic data storage using fast software to refill in prescriptions with short waiting times. The pharmacy has a paperless operation, which the owners hope can help reduce the volume of trash that is brought to Saipan’s landfill.
Parker said at Brabu, total wellness is the focus and this is why they offer organic, recycled, and environmentally friendly products.
“[Saipan] is my home. I want to take care of it and the people who live here,” Douglas told the magazine.
