(CMA) — The Commonwealth Medicaid Agency proudly announces the launch of its enhanced CMA Provider Directory, an innovative online resource designed to improve access to healthcare services and empower Medicaid beneficiaries throughout the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Accessible at https://medicaid.cnmi.gov/, the CMA Provider Directory provides a centralized, easy-to-use platform that allows Medicaid beneficiaries, families, caregivers, and community partners to quickly identify Medicaid-enrolled providers and facilities across the CNMI.
“This Provider Directory is about putting information directly into the hands of our beneficiaries,” said George Cruz, CNMI Medicaid director. “Access to care begins with knowing where to go. This tool strengthens transparency, reduces barriers, and helps ensure our community can connect with the care they need — when they need it.”
A modern, innovative tool designed with beneficiaries in mind
The CMA Provider Directory was developed to simplify the healthcare experience by offering a user-friendly and searchable system that allows beneficiaries to locate services by provider type and specialty. The directory includes a wide range of services such as medical care, dental services, vision care, pharmacy services, specialty providers, and healthcare facilities.
“The launch of this directory reflects CMA’s commitment to innovation and continuous improvement,” Director Cruz added. “By modernizing how information is shared, we are strengthening healthcare access while supporting informed decision-making for individuals and families across the Commonwealth.”
Key features of the directory include:
• Searchable provider listings by service category and specialty
• Current contact and location information for Medicaid-enrolled providers
• Identification of available services and facilities within the CNMI
• Language and accessibility indicators, supporting inclusive and equitable care
Empowering beneficiaries and strengthening care coordination
The CMA Provider Directory empowers beneficiaries by giving them greater confidence and clarity when navigating the healthcare system. By knowing which providers participate in Medicaid, beneficiaries can better plan appointments, reduce delays in care, and access services more efficiently.
“This directory is more than a list of providers — it’s a connection point between our community and quality care,” said Cruz. “It supports patients, families, providers, and community organizations by strengthening coordination and improving overall health outcomes.”
The Provider Directory is one of several initiatives the CMA has implemented to modernize Medicaid operations and enhance service delivery. The CMA will continue to maintain and update the directory to ensure accuracy and reliability, reinforcing trust in the Medicaid program, and supporting the evolving needs of the CNMI community.
