Commonwealth Utilities Corporation crews are working to maximize available resources by recovering storm-damaged transmission and distribution materials to determine whether they can be safely reused. CUC and Guam Power Authority crews are also testing both new and salvaged transformers damaged by the storm to ensure they are safe and usable before being reinstalled on power poles. These efforts help maximize available on-hand materials while additional supplies and equipment continue to arrive, supporting faster progress toward power restoration in the coming days.
