A visionary alliance for faith and the future
The agreement was affirmed by Dr. Christian Wei, president of EUCON International University, and Dr. Bruce McAllister, president of Bob Jones University. Both leaders share a conviction that the excellence of America’s Christian higher education should extend across the Pacific to strengthen the CNMI’s intellectual and economic foundations.
Dr. Wei stated: “This partnership unites faith, education, and economic vision. Bob Jones University represents the highest standard of Christian scholarship in America, and we are honored to bring that spirit of excellence to Saipan — helping prepare CNMI to meet the growing educational and professional needs of future investors and innovators.”

1) Student Exchange Programs –EUCON and BJU students will participate in flexible 1 + 3, 2 + 2, or semester-based exchange models, allowing them to study in both Saipan and the U.S. mainland, broadening their global and spiritual perspectives.
2) Faculty Exchange Programs – Professors from both universities will engage in one- to two-year teaching and research exchanges, co-developing cross-cultural curricula, research initiatives, and faculty training programs.
3) Joint Degree Pathways – The two universities will explore dual and cooperative degree programs in high- demand fields such as nursing, pre-med, artificial intelligence, business administration, and theological studies.
4) International Recruitment Collaboration – EUCON and BJU will coordinate recruitment across Asia and the Pacific — including Taiwan, China, Korea, and Japan—expanding international learning opportunities and strengthening Christian academic partnerships worldwide.
Empowering economic growth through education
This partnership goes beyond academia — it serves as a strategic foundation for CNMI’s long-term economic diversification. By introducing world-class Christian education and professional training, the collaboration will:
• Attract international students, scholars, and educational investment to the CNMI;
• Equip local students with advanced skills in healthcare, AI, and management;
• Stimulate knowledge-based and innovation-driven industries;
• Position CNMI as an emerging Pacific hub for education and technology.
Dr. Wei emphasized: “Education is the most reliable foundation for economic growth. Through our partnership with BJU, we aim to develop leaders who will not only strengthen the local economy but also bring faith and integrity into every sphere of influence.”
A partnership of faith, knowledge, and transformation
The EUCON–BJU alliance symbolizes a new era of faith-driven global education — uniting two Christian institutions with a shared mission to educate, empower, and transform.
Together, they will bring the best of Christian academic excellence to the Pacific and help build a brighter future for the CNMI.
