(CHCC) — The Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation announces a transition in provider coverage at the Rota Health Center as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain access to quality healthcare services for the people of Rota.
Dr. Tillman Farley, who has been serving on a six-month locum assignment, will complete his tenure on Nov. 10, 2025. CHCC extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Farley for his service and commitment to the Rota community. During his time on island, Dr. Farley provided comprehensive primary care and strengthened continuity of care for residents. He has expressed his appreciation for the warmth of the Rota community and remains open to returning for future locum opportunities, noting how much he enjoys serving the people of Rota and the broader CNMI.
Stepping into the role is Dr. Jocelyn Morin, a board-certified Family Medicine physician from New York, who joins the Rota Health Center for a six-month locum assignment. Dr. Morin brings extensive experience in rural outpatient care, having practiced at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, NY, since 2018, where she also serves as Chief of the Department of Family Medicine.
Dr. Morin is skilled in comprehensive primary care, women’s health procedures, and chronic disease management. Beyond patient care, she has contributed to the development of clinical policies and the implementation of team-based care models across multiple outpatient clinics. She is also a dedicated mentor to medical, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner students.
Dr. Morin earned her medical degree and completed her Family Medicine residency at the Ohio State University and holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a registered Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
“Recruiting and retaining healthcare providers across our island communities continues to be a challenge, but we remain committed to ensuring that CNMI residents have consistent access to quality medical care,” said CHCC Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Marty Rohringer. “We are deeply grateful to Dr. Farley for his service and warmly welcome Dr. Morin to the CHCC family.”
