GOVERNOR David M. Apatang on Wednesday reappointed Civil Service Commission Chairperson Raymond M. Muna.

Muna, who has been CSC chairperson since March 31, 2023, will be serving a second term on the commission if the Senate confirms his renomination.

In his letter to Senate President Karl King-Nabors, the governor said he and Lt. Gov. Dennis James Mendiola are confident that Muna will continue to dedicate his time and efforts to the best interests of the CNMI people.

“We believe that his continued membership on this commission is crucial to ensure consistency and continuity in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the Civil Service Commission,” the governor said.

In his appointment letter to Muna, the governor said he and the lieutenant governor have complete confidence in Muna’s unwavering commitment to serving the best interests of the CNMI people.

“We greatly appreciate your willingness to serve on this important commission, and we are confident that your time and efforts will be invaluable to our community,” the governor said.
