Saipan Chamber celebrates heartfelt and successful toys for Tots campaign

(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the successful completion of the 2025 Toys for Tots Campaign in collaboration with the U.S. Marine Corps Camp Blaz, the Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs, the SCC Armed Forces Committee, the Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations, and Project Buddy Check 670. The campaign’s success is made possible through the generosity, compassion, and collective spirit of businesses, organizations, volunteers, military partners, and the wider CNMI community.

This year’s campaign united 65 participating toy drive locations across Saipan’s private and public sectors, transforming workplaces, storefronts, government offices, and community hubs into spaces of giving and hope. Through these efforts, we collected 2,628 toys and $1,458.09 in monetary donations, all of which were hand-sorted and prepared for distribution to children in need across Saipan.

The Chamber along with its campaign partners extends its deepest appreciation to all our partners listed above for opening their doors and hearts for this meaningful cause. SCC also thanks the many dedicated volunteers who gave their time to collect, sort, and distribute donations, as well as the media partners who helped amplify the campaign’s message across the CNMI.

On Dec. 17, 2025, toys were distributed to our partner agencies; PSS Early Intervention, Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation, Karidat Social Services, The Salvation Army, and the Division of Youth Services, ensuring gifts reached children and families who needed them most. For many children, these toys represented the only gift they would receive this holiday season.

“Our goal each year is simple but powerful, to ensure every child in the Marianas receives a gift and feels the warmth of our community during the holidays,” said SCC Executive Director Kimm Camacho. “The overwhelming support from our businesses, partners, volunteers, and military community reflects the true spirit of hope, unity, and compassion that defines the CNMI.”

“Christmas is a special time of the year when joy and cheer is shared amongst the community. CBMA, in coordination with the Offices of the Governor and Lt. Governors are grateful to the Marine Corps and Saipan Chamber for making this holiday season one of remembrance for all who participated. A special thanks to our partners who came together and gave what they could. A very Merry Christmas to everyone in the CNMI and may this holiday season bring lasting memories for all in the Marianas,” said acting special assistant of CBMA, Brien S. Nicholas Jr.

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce along with our collaborating partners are honored to continue this tradition of service and gratitude, and extend a heartfelt Si Yu’us Ma’åsi’ yan Ghilisow to everyone who helped make the 2025 Toys for Tots Campaign another meaningful success.

Together, we are making a difference, one toy, one smile, and one child at a time.
