(SCC) — With just seven days remaining, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce is preparing to kick off 2026 with its first general membership meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Royal Taga Ballroom, Saipan World Resort, a proud Chamber member.
This February GMM marks the official start of a year focused on connection, collaboration, and growth across the Marianas business community. The meeting will feature updates from key Chamber committees, including the Government Relations Committee, Armed Forces Committee, and Education & Workforce Development Committee, offering members valuable insights into initiatives shaping the local business and community landscape.
SCC is also pleased to welcome Anthony C. Torres of the Commonwealth Economic Incentive Authority as the meeting’s special guest speaker. Torres will share how tech and AI founders, fintech innovators, corporate leaders, and IP-based companies can leverage the CNMI’s Economic Incentive Districts — one of the most strategic and tax-advantaged business environments on U.S. soil. These districts provide rebates and exemptions designed to support new businesses, attract investment, and drive innovation in the Marianas.
Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for lunch, with the program beginning promptly at 12 noon. Luncheon fees are $35 for Chamber members and $40 for prospective members. Seating is limited, and early registration is highly encouraged.
