SAIPAN Mayor Ramon Blas “RB” Camacho appointed Public School System Student Supports Services School Counselor Program Manager Paulette Tomokane, Ed.D., to the Saipan Higher Education Financial Assistance Board of Directors Monday. He also reappointed current member Guadalupe T. Attao to the board.
In his letter to Saipan and Northern Islands Legislative Delegation Chairman John Paul P. Sablan, the mayor said he was pleased to appoint Tomokane and reappoint Attao to the SHEFA board, noting that their appointments are subject to confirmation by the SNILD.
Attao and Tomokane, a former principal of San Vicente Elementary School, will serve two-year terms on the SHEFA board.
Camacho told the SNILD chair that he is confident Attao and Tomokane are highly qualified and committed individuals who will contribute meaningfully to SHEFA’s mission of providing the island’s residents with essential financial assistance for higher education.
He respectfully requested SNILD’s support in confirming their appointments.
