(Office of the Governor/Joint Information Center) — Here is the latest situation report as of Friday, May 1, 6 p.m. from the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation.
Feeder 1 & 3, Partial 1 to the Hospital was initially energized at 4 p.m. on April 19, 2026. The hospital remains running on emergency backup generator to allow CUC to continue restoration services at Power Plant 1 and take on additional load to critical facilities.
CUC successfully energized portions of Feeder 1 from Power Plant 1 with diesel engine #1. The transfer of load from Power Plant 4 to Power Plant no. 1 was performed prior to energizing portions of Feeder 1.
Work in progress:
• Transfer of Power Plant 4 load to Power Plant 1.
• Energizing large facilities on Feeder 1, including Mobil and Shell storage facility and businesses in the Garapan area.
