The Department of Public Safety has yet to release details about the two incidents.
Initially, people thought a fire broke out at Club Chicago as clients and bar employees were seen rushing out of the establishment.
Responding firefighters and medics provided oxygen to a bar employee who inhaled chemicals from the fire extinguisher.
Bar staffers said a man, who was later handcuffed and taken into custody by authorities, operated a fire extinguisher inside the club.
The Variety was told that the man was part of a group of sailors who were inside the bar.
The identity of the man and his reason for setting off the fire extinguisher were not known as of press time.
In the vehicular incident, paramedics brought the man hit by an eastbound pick-up truck on Garapan St. to the Commonwealth Health Center. His condition was unknown as of press time.
