After a follow-up investigation was conducted it was found that the suspect in the case was the victim’s step-grandfather, Rudolph Rudolph. Investigation revealed that the elements of the crime in this case warranted the charges of sexual assault of a minor in the first and second degrees.
On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at about 3:43 p.m., Judge Kim-Tenorio signed and authorized the issuance of an arrest warrant for Rudolph for the charges of sexual assault of a minor in the first degree and sexual assault of a minor in the second degree, with a cash bail set at $50,000.
On Thursday, July 30, 2020, at approximately 10:06 a.m., Rudolph was arrested pursuant to this warrant in Chalan Kanoa, Saipan.
