Jackson is being held at the Department of Corrections facility on a $100,000 cash bail on charges of kidnapping, rape, sexual abuse of a minor, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Thomas A. Blas Jr. said they received a call about a sexual assault incident at about 4:03 a.m., Saturday.
Based on the preliminary investigation of Patrol Officer Abraham Villagomez the victim was walking on As Lito Road by Happy Market.
Jackson was driving a grayish brown sedan when he stopped by the victim and forced her into his vehicle, police said.
Jackson took the victim to the football field where he sexually assaulted her, police said.
“Detectives from [the Criminal Investigation Bureau] were notified and through their investigation, the suspect’s vehicle was identified along with the suspect,” Blas said.
At about 11:47 p.m., Detective Melissa Bauleong arrested Jackson in Dandan.
Blas said “the case is still under investigation.”
