Superior Court Associate Judge David Wiseman set a $60,000 cash bail for Alvin Pinaula’s temporary liberty.
Pinaula failed to come up with the money and was remanded to the custody of the Department of Corrections.
Wiseman told him to have no direct or indirect contact with any child should he be able to post bail.
Detective George A. Barcinas told the court he interviewed the two victims.
According to Barcinas’ sworn statement to the court, the mother of one of the minors said Pinaula forced her to have sexual intercourse with him in August on two separate occasions.
The girl said Pinaula had been sexually abusing her since she was in the third grade.
Two other girls said Pinaula touched their private parts while they were sleeping.
Pinaula told the detective “he doesn’t know why he’s doing it but admitted that he needs help.”
