Last November, Taitano was sentenced to 159 days, which he already served at the Department of Corrections facility, for conspiracy to utter counterfeit obligations and securities, and for uttering counterfeit obligations and securities.
Taitano was also placed under three years supervised release.
The Federal Probation Office said Taitano’s probation should be revoked because he admitted smoking “ice” on Jan. 23, 2010.
Forty hours of community service were added by the federal court to Taitano’s conditions due to a second admission of using “ice,” records showed.
Taitano tested presumptive positive on June 6, 2010 for marijuana use but denied smoking it.
Taitano explained he was around people who were smoking marijuana at a beach in Chalan Kanoa.
Days later, Taitano reported to the Federal Probation Office and admitted smoking marijuana and drinking three cans of beer on June 5, 2010.
“This is Mr. Taitano’s third admission of drug use this year,” the Federal Probation Office informed Designated Senior Judge Robert J. Bryan of the Western District of Washington who issued the summons for Taitano yesterday.
