Junding Qui, also known as Cho Que, had already spent 257 days in prison and was thus released.
He was sentenced to four years imprisonment, all suspended except for eight and a half months already served at the Department of Corrections facility.
Qui signed a plea agreement, admitting the offense of illegal possession of controlled substance.
Wiseman placed Qui on supervised probation for the remainder of his suspended sentence.
Qui was required to pay a $200 fine and a $100 court assessment fee. He will perform 100 hours of community work.
Assistant Attorney General Brian Gallagher prosecuted the case while Qui was represented by Assistant Public Defender Richard Miller.
