Associate Judge David Wiseman granted the motion of Chief Public Defender Adam Hardwicke for defendant Rui Dong Yang, 31, to be released on personal recognizance.
Rui Dong Yang yesterday appeared under the custody of the Department of Corrections.
The Attorney General’s Office charged Dong with two counts of possession and trafficking of “ice” on Oct. 21, 2009 and one count of possession and trafficking of “ice” on Oct. 23, 2009.
A $60,000 bail was earlier imposed by the court on Rui Dong Yang.
