Judge Kenneth L. Govendo warned Milton Camacho that if he does not follow the conditions set by the court, he will stay in jail until his case is resolved.
“I won’t give a colorful account of all your court records but if you violate any of the conditions — that’s it, back to jail you go,” Govendo said.
Camacho was arrested with co-defendants Zenita B. Cabrera and Barbie Ann B. Borja last June.
Govendo ordered Camacho to observe a 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew, but he can stay out until 9 p.m. when he is taking classes.
He is also ordered to have no direct contact with the complainant, his co-defendants and the stores where he cashed the checks.
The court also ordered Camacho’s third party custodian to post a $10,000 unsecured bond to ensure that Camacho obeys all the conditions set by the court.
Govendo set the status conference for Aug. 28, 2008 at 9 a.m.
Camacho and his co-defendants were charged with theft by deception and receiving stolen property.
Detective Vincent K. Basa submitted an affidavit to the court stating that on June 18, some checks were stolen from a business establishment in Susupe.
Basa said a source told him that Cabrera admitted to entering an establishment behind the Arizona Sports Bar and stealing an undetermined amount of company checks. The defendant also admitted cashing the checks.
Cabrera and Borja are currently under probation, while Camacho has been previously involved in various drug-related criminal activities.
