Greggory Sablan Kalen, represented by attorney F. Matthew Smith, entered a guilty plea for the charges of distribution and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance before U.S. District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Alex R. Munson.
Munson accepted Kalen’s plea and set the sentencing at 9 a.m., Sept. 23. Kalen’s pre-sentence investigation report is due on Aug. 19.
The judge also granted Kalen’s request to go back to work as a security guard during the daytime hours.
Greggory Kalen, also known as G., Goro, and Greggory Sablan Kani; Lawrence Kalen; and Manuel A. Sablan, also known as Manny Sablan, were indicted on one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine hydrochloride or ice.
The indictment stated that the three conspired to distribute ice on Dec. 1 to 13, 2007.
The judge allowed Greggory Kalen to remain at liberty under the same terms and bail conditions the court previously set.
