Department of Public Safety Acting Spokesman Jason T. Tarkong said police officers responded to a robbery incident report at about 5:10 a.m. yesterday at the 10-21 Poker, located in Kagman III.
Tarkong said police officers met the victim and learned that a masked male had just robbed the Poker establishment with a handgun.
Police described the suspect to be about 5’7” tall, skinny and about 160 lbs. based on the footage of the surveillance camera of the 10-21 Poker.
Tarkong said the suspect wore a black mask, a black long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
He said the video footage showed the suspect grabbing the victim by her hand and pointed a pistol to her head as he pulled her into the cashier’s booth.
The suspect then opened the cashier drawer, grabbed the cash and fled from the scene of the crime.
Tarkong said the poker establishment’s security guard was at the back of the poker house making his rounds when the incident occurred.
The guard did not witness the incident, police said.
Tarkong said police officers searched the area for traces of the suspect and recovered approximately $4,000 cash scattered on a gravel road leading to a trail by the crime scene.
Tarkong said the money is believed to be the amount stolen by the suspect from the poker establishment but the suspect is still at large.
