A MAN filed a complaint with the police after he was allegedly assaulted by his live-in partner at their apartment during Father’s Day.
The victim filed a complaint of disturbing the peace, assault and battery and criminal mischief against a 22-year-old woman.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Pete C. Muna said the victim told the police that he and his partner had an argument over their finances on Sunday morning at their apartment.
The victim said his partner suddenly grabbed him and scratched his back. She then warned him not to touch her or she would call the police and have him arrested.
The woman then went outside the apartment, threw a rock at their car, and scratched the side of the car with a rock.
On Tuesday afternoon, the couple had another fight in front of other people outside their apartment.
According to the victim, his partner punched him on the left ear and “shouted profanity words at him.” She also damaged their car by scratching the hood with a rock.
The victim said he had to leave the apartment “before he could do something that he would regret later on.”
He said that while they were on Guam a few months ago, his partner cut all, but two, of his clothes in the closet.
The case was placed under further investigation.
