A Turkish national, the 19-year-old Mamo will serve his sentence day for day at the Department of Corrections, the judge ordered. The defendant was also given nine days’ credit for time served.
In addition, he was ordered to pay $25 in court fees.
According to the factual basis for the plea agreement, Mamo unlawfully struck and caused bodily harm to a co-worker on Aug. 2, 2020.
Mamo was represented by Assistant Public Defender Karie Comstock, while Assistant Attorney General Erin Toolan appeared for the government.
Mamo, a casino construction worker, is among the individuals who will be repatriated to Turkey Tuesday, Sept. 3, Variety learned.
No additional information about his case was available as of press time Wednesday.
