Jang through his lawyer David Banes filed a complaint of negligence against Benjawan Luangfong.
The complaint stated that on July 27, 2009, at about 10:23 a.m., Jang was travelling north along Middle Road.
“Suddenly and without warning,” Luangfong entered traffic while travelling from west to east, and struck Jang’s vehicle that was severely damaged in the process, the complaint stated.
The force of the impact resulted in injuries to Jang and his vehicle, it added.
After its investigation, the Department of Public Safety concluded that Luangfong was “at fault,” Banes said.
Jang is asking for general, statutory and special damages in an amount to be proven at trial; pre-judgment and post-judgment interest as allowed by law; for costs; and such other and equitable relief.
