“They will be talking to the students about history and about life back then,” said Walter Manglona, the office’s program coordinator.
The manamko’ will also compare the current school environment with how it was back then.
The students, for their part, will share their experiences.
This activity will help bridge the generation gap and is a learning experience for both groups, Manglona said.
The senior citizens, moreover, will teach the students handicrafts.
“We do this activity with different schools,” said Rose Mondala, the office’s acting director.
