Zang Yan Zhen, a masseuse, filed the complaint for breach of contract against American Sai Green Corp., doing business on Saipan as Asahi Health Massage, and her employers.
The plaintiff, through his counsel S. Joshua Berger, stated that on June 24, 2008, the Department of Labor ordered the defendants to pay her wages including liquidated damages amounting to $7, 759.20, but the defendants failed to pay her.
The plaintiff is asking the court to order her employers to grant her relief against damages in the actual amount of the wages owed her, for pre-judgment interest of 9 percent per annum as allowed by law, and for costs and other relief as the court deems just and proper.
The Superior Court has given the defendants 20 days to file their answer to the complaint filed against them.
