Children’s library associate Erlinda C. Naputi said the Matua Riders clean the library grounds at least once a month.
“We know the Matua Riders are all busy but they still find time to come and help us. We appreciate what they are doing for us. It helps us a lot especially in this hard economic times,” Naputi said.
The Matua Riders mowed the lawn, cut the tall bushes around the library and kept the grounds free from any trash.
With the club’s assistance, Naputi said they won’t have to use their budget to pay for extra janitorial services.
“We provide fuel for the bush cutters but the Matua Riders Club members use their own equipment, and for this, we would like to let them know that we appreciate their help,” she said.
