But Mayor Donald G. Flores clarified that this delivery is only for households that don’t get water from the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.
They usually bring water to homes that have sick persons, he said.
“There are areas with no water service,” he added.
According to the mayor, they’ve been getting lots of request for water supply.
Flores said they also deliver water to households whose water supply has been disconnected by CUC, but for a limited time only.
He said his office will not always provide water to areas that have CUC waterlines.
The mayor’s field office in Lower Base, which has two water tankers that serve the community, is allowed by CUC to draw water from designated fire hydrants.
