The senior students are planning to go to Cairns, Australia during the end of May. “The purpose of the trip is for cultural experience. We wish to also bring back the knowledge we attain from the trip,” said Marianas Honors Society president and senior student John Patrick Ermitanio
For the Valentines Get-A-Way package raffle, the prize was a package that included a one night stay plus dinner at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for two as well as limousine service, flowers and candy. Patricia A. Garshak won the Valentine package.
The seniors also had yard sales at the Marianas Business Plaza and in-school fundraisers such as candy grams.
The students are planning another fundraising raffle which will be held at the VFW Canteen on Beach Road. “It will be a walk-in kind of raffle where people could hang out at the VFW and buy raffle tickets for a dollar,” said Ermitanio.
