The mobile clinic, which Gov. Benigno Fitial launched last month, will be used by the Division of Public Health’s prevention program for cervical cancer.

On Saturday, Public Health staffers, Variety learned, will be giving out pap smear services to the first 30 women who will register.
The health fair, which is held annually, is in collaboration with the Commonwealth Cancer Coalition.
Aside from pap smears, health advocates will also give out anti-flu vaccines, offer health screening and put up educational booths.
The mobile clinic became a reality after the Fitial administration reprogrammed $400,000 in tobacco control funds.
The mobile clinic is expected to provide CNMI residents access to healthcare services outside the hospital, including free and confidential health screening and health education.
The mobile clinic offers screening for blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol, glucose, nutrition assessment, pregnancy test, dental sealant and eye screening.
The mobile clinic will also be used to disseminate information about asthma, cancer, tuberculosis, diabetes, family planning, heart disease risk reduction and injury and infection prevention.
In case of natural disaster, the mobile clinic will deliver vaccinations, medications and shelter.
