The health screening at the Tanapag Youth Center is scheduled today from 7 a.m. 11 a.m. while the health screening at San Antonio is from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Oct. 29.
The health screening is being conducted by the Department of Public Health in collaboration with the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.’s Women’s Clinic Providers and Commonwealth Cancer Association volunteers.
Tomorrow, there will be celebrity baggers from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Joeten Susupe and Super Fresh Market in Chalan Kanoa.
Another cancer walk is scheduled at the Garapan Fishing Base from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Organizers of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month are urging everybody to wear pink every Tuesday to show their support in the fight against breast cancer.
Last Saturday, as part of the 2011 Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities, a village health screening was held in the parking lot of Lao Lao Bay Golf where 24 women aged 21 to 59 years old availed of free clinical breast exams, blood sugar and pressure and BMI screening.
The blood sugar/pressure and BMI screening were open to the first 50 men and women who arrived at the site.
