At approximately 2:27 am, the Department of Public Safety Commonwealth Fire Division responded to a reported structural fire located at a residence in Kagman III.
The home was occupied by a 54 year old Chuukese male who lived there alone. There were no injuries involved.
Fire investigators believe the fire may have been started by a lit mosquito coil. The case is under investigation.
