Girlie and Antonee Aguilar said prizes and medals will be given to participants of this event which aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among students.
The race is also a fundraising program of the school’s 7th and 8th graders.
The race route includes Paupau Beach, the radar tower, Suicide Cliff, Bird Island, the Grotto, Banzai Cliff and back to Paupau Beach.
The mountain bike route starts from Paupau and heads to the FEBC then toward the kamikaze trail, the autobahn, Santa Claus Land, to Banzai Cliff and back to Paupau.
A special race for the kids will be held at the Paupau Beach driveway.
Two brand-new mountain bikes are among the prizes.
The entrance fee is $10.
The event will be held on Jan. 22, 2012 at 6:30 a.m.
Raffle tickets are available at Bike Pro, Taro Sue, Ride NMI and at the Saipan SDA Clinic.
