
THE Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command is hosting “Industry Day” on Tinian today, Wednesday, Sept. 18, and on Saipan tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 19.
Industry Day on Tinian will be held at Western Lodge/Bar K from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Saipan, it will be held at Crowne Plaza Resort from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Gov. Arnold I. Palacios, the Joint Region Marianas commander, Adm. Brent DeVore, and 356 the Expeditionary Civil Engineer Group commander, Lt. Col. Frank Blaz, will deliver opening remarks.
Members of the public are invited to “come and learn about upcoming projects, contract requirements, and the information needed to join our work enabling premier shore support with construction and installation maintenance opportunities, and more.”
“We will have our leadership and representatives from the Navy and Air Force, Real Estate, Small Business, Human Resources, and Planning, Design, and Construction,” NAVFAC Marianas added. “Our team will help you learn how to do business with the Navy and Air Force as a contractor or subcontractor as well as present upcoming opportunities and training. We will also assist you with navigating the résumé writing process and applying through the USAJobs website.”
Among the topics for discussion is the military construction outlook in the CNMI.
