She is responsible for overseeing the clerks’ office, which offers support to the justices of the court and provides public services, such as birth certificate access, marriage licenses, and notary services. Alma held the position of assistant clerk of courts for nearly four years.
The Yap State Court also welcomes Libuw Pongliyab, the new administrator for the court.
As the administrator, Libuw is responsible for various tasks, including preparing and reporting on the budget and other fiscal matters, overseeing the administrative and clerk staff, and acting as a liaison for the court.
Libuw previously worked in the private sector.
