On Wednesday, he said they will hold a “sponsor cocktail” at the Fiesta Resort Spa from 6 to 8 p.m. to acknowledge the regular and new business partners of the NMC Foundation.
The sponsors of the golf tournament scheduled for April 30 at the Saipan Laolao Bay Golf & Resort include the Marianas Variety.
Babauta said all is set for the tournament.
The NMC Foundation was able to achieve this year’s goal of raising $60,000, he added.
“This is for a good cause,” he said, adding that they have another fundraising event this November.
For the golf tournament, Babauta said Continental Airlines renewed its support and committed to give seven plane tickets to anywhere in Asia or Micronesia.
The first prize is a round-trip Continental Airlines ticket plus cash. The second and third placers will get cash.
“I thank all the sponsors who contribute every year, the players and the volunteers, the community and the organizers, including the college,” Babauta said.
Babauta also thanked Triple J Motors for sponsoring the hole-in-one prize, which is a Hyundai Tucson GL.
