Those who will be competing are Teana Tudela Reyes, John Ronald Darag, Lizelle Salanga, Kassandra Royal, James David, and Leonard Manuel.
Their song entries must be from the 1980s, in commemoration of the college’s establishment in 1981.
There are 12 contestants that auditioned for Marianas Idol but only six made to the final, NMC said.
This year’s celebration also features the Battle of the Bands and dance crew competitions.
The band competition will be between Platinum Click and Unsigned and each set is 15 minutes long with an eight-minute timed set-up.
Judges will be selecting the winner based on musicianship, originality, stage presence and audience response.
Included in this year’s competitions and other performances is the Miss Pugua pageant.
In addition to the entertainment line-up, there will be several vendors on campus offering island delicacies and specialty drinks for sale.
These include Jolog’s BBQ, 3 A’s Hula Girl, Creative Garlik, Poon’s Restaurant, Fong’s Bakery, Lynn’s BBQ, Shirley’s Coffee Shop, Champs, D’Elegance and Java Joe’s.
NMC will also announce the recipients of the employee recognition awards for the student, employee, instructional faculty, non-instructional faculty, supervisor and alumni of year.
