Interested individuals will be able to pick up admissions applications for the Summer and Fall 2009 semesters, class schedules, and other documents pertaining to enrolling in the college’s various programs and services.
Visitors to the booth will also receive waivers for the college’s application and English and math placement test fees, which represent a savings of $75.
Admissions staff will also be available at the booth to answer questions.
NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in elementary education, associate degrees in business, liberal arts, nursing, natural resource management, criminal justice, hospitality management, and more.
Moreover, it offers certificate programs in different vocational, academic, and professional areas.
The Charter Day festivities will also be showcasing the talent and performances of several well-known groups on the island, including Uncle Ben’s, local dance group Inatuas, Carolinian Dancers, and Latte Vibes.
The event will also include the musical fusions of Club V’s DJ Jeyrock.
Charter Day will feature the highly anticipated Marianas Idol Competition, which will highlight some of the CNMI’s most talented singers competing for the title of 2009 Marianas Idol as well as prizes donated by the event’s sponsors.
Other competitions will include the NMC Charter Day Dance Crew Competition, the Battle of the Bands, and the Miss Pugua Beauty Pageant.
In addition, there will also be several vendors featuring island delicacies and specialty drinks for sale.
