Last night, the cast of more than 31 students had a costume parade and dress rehearsal.
They have been practicing for their roles for weeks at MHS and are greatly saddened by the death of the school’s security guard, who also helped support the production by making the rehearsals possible and safe.
The Broadway musical, written by Marsha Norman with music by Lucy Simon, is based on the classic children’s story “The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
Sponsoring the production is the Thespians of the Western Pacific Islands which is “proud that it fosters cooperation between students from different schools.”
The show starts at 7 p.m. and a ticket costs $7.50.
