Pacific Development Inc. director Gordon Marciano said in a statement that the group noted how beautiful and clean the island is and that they would have loved to stay another day but due to their schedule they must continue on with their tour.
PDI is the ground handling agent of the Nomads on Saipan.
The Nomads stayed at the Hyatt Regency Saipan Hotel.
“They were very amazed with the rich history of the island and could not get over the thought of how beautiful and clean the island is and how wonderful and friendly the people are,” the media release stated.
Upon the group’s arrival, the Marianas Visitors Authority arranged for local dancers to welcome the guests with the warm “Hafa Adai” spirit while 2009 Miss Liberation Day Queen Isabel C. Muna presented the guests with shell lei’s.
When the group arrived at the Hyatt, the warm Hafa Adai greeting continued on as dancers and the staff and management of Hyatt welcomed the guests, providing island style coconut drink and welcome song, ensuring a professional care for all and a most pleasant stay.
After three days of non-stop sightseeing, the visitors wanted to know more about Managaha’s conservation area, Marciano said.
The Nomads went swimming and enjoyed the day, he added.
“They are very delighted to know we are protecting our marine resource and are amazed with the rich history of the Marianas,” he said.
