The money is the remaining balance of carry over Compact sector grants and will be used for funding new and continuing government programs through March 31, 2009.
The breakdown of the appropriation is as follows:
• Department of Resources and Development:
1. Agriculture and forestry – $4,140
2. Marine Resources – $33,410
3. Workforce Enrichment – $7,530
• Yap Visitors Bureau – $10,550
• Public Auditor – $43,200
• Office of Planning and Budget – $5,800
A similar bill which re-appropriated $371,759.32 Compact carry over funds was signed into law last week by Gov. Sebastian Anefal.
