He said they appreciate the hard work and dedication of past and present elected leaders.
On Wednesday, some members of the group expressed their opinions about the result of the Nov. 7 elections.
Group member Don Cohen expressed his disappointment with Rep. Tina Sablan’s defeat, saying that “some leaders and voters are incompetent.”
But according to Brownstein, “We do not believe that the citizens of our island did not have a choice in the past elections.”
He thanked all of the candidates.
He said their group mirrors the hopes and concerns of all the citizens in the CNMI, and is hoping that more members of the public can participate in the governing process so that their concerns will be heard.
