Bernie Mabalot, a member of the church, said the event was very successful.
He said bands performed music and a children’s choir interpreted several songs.
Mabalot said 268 individuals availed themselves of the free health services like body mass indexing and blood pressure checks.
Almost 300 individuals also had their photos taken for free by professional photographers who volunteered their services for the event.
Mabalot said children enjoyed their time working on arts and crafts. The guests also viewed the photo exhibit of Iglesia chapels and other edifices around the world.
Moreover, volunteers a offered free massage to guests.
Mabalot said it was the first Iglesia ni Cristo Neighborhood Appreciation Day on island.
“We appreciated everyone who came and enjoyed an afternoon of fun, food and entertainment with us. It was a nice experience for everyone to mingle with us,” he added.
