No arrests were made in the anti-illegal drugs operation.
“We cannot comment on the purpose of the helicopters until the operations are completed. Thank you for your patience,” Department of Public Safety Commissioner Ramon C. Mafnas told Variety.
A source said the special agents involved were from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration from the CNMI, Guam and Honolulu, the U.S. Marshals Service, and DPS.
The U.S. Coast Guard provided one of the three federal helicopters.
